Pro Downhill and Enduro racer and part time Moto guy. Originally from Boston but now call Vermont home. This will be my 4th year/season with Defiant Racing.
I have been riding mountain bikes since age 6. Most of my free time is spent on my bike, either building jumps, riding at the local West Milford pump track, or Downhill at Mountain Creek Bike Park. During my 2015 season I raced for Team Jersey Homegrown and moved up to Cat 2, 15-18 and placed second in the National Series. In the 2016 season I joined Defiant Racing and raced as a Cat 1, 15-18 where I earned 1st place for the Eastern States Cup and was named Super Champ. In the same year, I raced in Peru at the Pan-America Cont. race and took 3rd place. In 2017, I raced my first World Cup DH races. Unfortunately, I crashed in my qualifying run in Switzerland and broke my collarbone. I was able to come back for the last Pro GRT of the season in Mammoth, CA where I placed 5th fresh off an injury. 2018 season had the opportunity to race in two more World Cup envents. In 2020 I came in 2nd place at the Costa Rica Open and took my first win in the pro category at Mountain Creek, NJ. The 2021 season was littered with injuries for me, so the season ended early. I am now back on the bike and excited for the 2022 season.
A little bit about me: I'm a 21 year old DH racer from Vermont who also dabbles in Enduro from time to time. I'm a Junior at University of Vermont pursuing a triple major in Health & Society (essentially Public Health.), Spanish, and Psychology. In my spare time, I rock climb for fun, race ski cross, take my dog Rudy for walks and help out with women and kids MTB clinics in the Killington area.
The results I'm most proud of are my 12th place finish at 2020 World Championships, 14th Place at 2019 Snowshoe World Cup Finals and my 2nd place Pro finish at the US National Cup at Mountain Creek last year.
Riding bikes is the greatest passion in my life. It's taught me so many lessons, let me meet so many amazing people, and taken me to places I would never imagine. I learned how to ride a bike at the age of 3, and it all went downhill from there, literally. After being introduced to the sport of mountain biking, I was hooked, and began to race competitively. I'm now going into my 6th year of racing, along with continuing my journey on Defiant Racing for my 4th year. I love everything about this sport, and am always looking towards my next challenge. You'll usually see me at Mountain Creek ripping up the trails, or any of the downhill races. It's been a while since I started mountain biking, and it won't stop soon. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for me with this wild ride called mountain biking
I have always loved riding bikes. By the time I was 2, I was already trying to jump my bike off of anything I could find. At 4, I started racing BMX and was NAG 13 at 6 years old. When I turned 8, I decided I wanted to stop racing to freeride. I tried my first mountain bike and fell in love. I also entered my first dual slalom race, taking first place. For the next 2 years, I focused on dirt jumping, freeriding. and dual slalom In 2019 I decided to focus more on DH racing, racing in 6 races and making the podium twice. In 2020, I took 1 st place in 4 of 5 Dh races and tried enduro for the first time finishing in the top 5 in all but 1 race. For the 2021 season, I joined the Defiant Race team which has been an amazing experience. With the help of my team, I raced up in the 15-18 expert category. I raced 13 races in 10 states, making the podium 9 times. This season I am looking forward to racing more at the National level.
